After one of their consultants marketed to my 15-year-old daughter via Facebook, my daughter ordered $250 of products with my credit card without my permission. Within 15 minutes of placing the order, we called and cancelled it.

The customer service rep told us a refund would be processed and credited back to my card within 48 hours. 48 hours later, no credit. Called the company again, was told "someone tried to re-route your order but could not" and "but there is no tracking number yet, so it must not have been shipped." Rep said again a refund would be processed within 48 hours. Then she informed me my daughter had signed up for an "account" whereby the card on file would be charged every two months for $200 (some kind of preferred customer scam).

I told her she needed to cancel this account. She said she could not do that without my daughter's permission. I then informed her that my daughter was 15 years old, a minor, and that under Illinois law what they were doing was fraudulent. She then said she would "break the rules" and go ahead and cancel the account.

I am now going to have to call my credit card company and un-authorize any charges to this company as I do not think there is any other way to ensure they will in fact cancel all orders and accounts with them.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Location: Monroe, New York

Yes mam R & F is a very shady company that has a long history of doing this.

In my opinion, you should be much more upset with your daughter who stole from you than any company in this situation! She is the one who did wrong here!

Many businesses advertise on Facebook. If someone represents themselves as a legitimate consumer what can any business do? Also, any company can refund a credit card within 48 hours.

Most of the time the specific bank will not process the refund for 7 - 10 business days. Get upset with the right people and hold your daughter accountable for her actions!

Please stop calling a Rodan & Fields consultant with (usually) zero knowledge about dermatology who would sell to a minor a business owner. If you applied that same logic to drug dealers you would arrest the kids and not the dealers who prey on kids.

Talk about a dumb dumb. For sure a shameless RF consultant!

I just do not understand these women.

Act like adults and do honorable things instead of blaming kids.

They are all losers and that's why 99% of them fail. Then they try to tell you that they make "5 figures a month" just before they move on to the next MLM scam where they claim they are in on the ground floor and you will be sorry a year from now if you don't start immediately. Pathetic!

If you are serious that it is the teenagers fault here and not the adult, then you are worse that the average R&F scam artist. You you a *** artist.

If these miracle creams were even half as good as you claim, you would have revenue growth every month from ongoing repeat sales and not have to "steal" from a 15 year old. Most R&F reps lack education that any basic business or business law course would provide that there is no such thing as a legal & binding contract with a minor.

This is just more proof that R&F consultants get very desperate and stoop very low before they face the inevitable and throw in the towel and admit failure. The real truth is the odds were stacked against your success from the very day you "started your journey".

Another shameless, selfish act on behalf of desperate Rodan and Feilds consultants trying to make their quota. Social media stalking, selling to minors, not refunding money.

The list continues.

If the consultant had any integrity she would have given the money back herself immediately. Lots of MLMs have bad reputations, but this one is by far takes the cake.
